Welcome to the Middle Kuskokwim Consortium website. MKC includes the Native Villages of Akiachak, Akiak, and Tuluksak. We are Yup'ik Eskimo peoples. We formed the Consortium in 2005 to protect our traditional ways of life. We hope that our website may be helpful to the surrounding villages for ideas and information on the environment.
We are the first Kuskokwim village to overhaul old-metals and break down old machinery for recycling.
